About the photos:
I always shoot full manual in RAW and I strive to postprocess as little as possible the photos. Usually I only adjust - if necessary – the white balance, exposure, black and contrast levels. When appropriate I convert to grayscale. The camera is set to natural rendition of colors, sharpening off & noise reduction off. Keep rate is now 1:3.

Glad to see another happy Olympus user. How do you feel about he FL-36? I’d need a flash but I’m still in doubt about this one.
Thanks in advance for your answer (and sorry for posting the last comment in romanian :*) )

FL36 has served me a lot since it’s first day. The main benefit, even when you don’t use it’s light, is no more flash strobes which draws so much attention to you and annoys/scares away your living subjects. On the other hand, you can bounce the light and/or diffuse it. Add the fact that it’s having it’s own power source and the price which is quite ok.

If you want more info, please leave me a comment and I’ll contact you.

Since I managed to buy a second Olympus body, I’ll save “something” for the FL50R. Quite expensive but it has a little more power and options.

P.S. About the comment in Romanian: no problem, I always moderate comments and translate where needed.
